Truly Bespoke Kitchens Handmade in Cumbria

Considered, Beautiful, Functional, Solid Wood, Contemporary Kitchens

Our approach to both design and craftsmanship is very client-centered, this means that each kitchen conceived, designed and made here in our workshop from beautiful English hardwoods is entirely unique and reflects the close and considered collaboration we have with the client from concept to creation it is a narration of their personal style, lifestyle, family ethos, needs and eccentricities. This is what we call truly bespoke. All aspects of the kitchen commission are undertaken by our small team, from design and service requirements to build, delivery and fitting. We aim to produce work of the highest standard imbued with a quiet sense of purity and we are proud to say that commissions for single modules, freestanding units, beautifully fitted kitchens, pantry/larder spaces and functional wooden islands, all receive the same exacting and dedicated consideration by each of our team.

A HOUT Kitchen is an investment in living for now and for the future – Our Kitchens start from £25,000 inc vat

With a focus on natural, timeless, and functional aesthetics HOUT kitchens are spaces to gather, nourish, share, smile and celebrate the design and the creation are a journey – it just takes the first step.

The Windermere Elm Kitchen

The large space works beautifully with a linear focus, and there are signs everywhere of our love of horizontal lines; drawers, shelving, cladding..

The Lancaster Elm Kitchen

The design, we felt, needed to be simple and fresh but warm. We added bookcases, shelving, lighting and storage. Everything is designed with careful consideration to use; flow, ergonomics and available light.

The Greystoke Elm Kitchen

The couple, keen cooks, required plenty of space for the kitchen to be lively and active, but it was important that it also be visually pleasing.

The Hampsfield Fell Elm Kitchen

The home is open-plan and we were mindful of proportion and aesthetics as the kitchen was open to both the dining area, drinks bar and a lounge.

The Cartmel Fell Ash Kitchen

It needed to be made from sustainable, honest materials and sit comfortably in the space which also comprises the dining room and informal family ‘connection’ space.

The Lindale Elm Kitchen

Our priorities were to create maximum function within a timeless design that was sympathetic to the natural surrounding environment.
